Joining the email list can help us see who is interested in our cause and we would love to get to know you better. The google form to sign up for the email list also has a way for you to join the organization and to know when the meetings will happen.
Alternative Seasonal Breaks (ASB) is an official non-profit UIUC organization that is run through the YMCA. The organization focuses on sending students on volunteer trips across the nation, and the world to interact with different communities. ASB strives to advocate for social justice and environmental issues and works to create a safe environment to facilitate these discussions. Through these experiences, they hope to bridge gaps between students and the community and work towards getting them involved with activism.
What we do
ASB is an organization built on a principle of helping and educating others. We want students to find passion in fighting for community causes, and wanting to be involved with the world.
